Booking Conditions
Theses are the standard booking conditions of Barcroft
Tours & Events which must be read and agreed by all customers.
Contract
By
contracting with BARCROFT TOURS AND EVENTS (referred to in
these booking conditions as "we" or "us")
you will be accepting these booking conditions on behalf of
yourself and all other persons using our services pursuant
to a booking made by you.
Insurance & Health
Insurance
is compulsory on all tours. Details of the insurance which
can be booked through our office can be found on the booking
form. Nationals of the UK or any other EC country can obtain
an E111. This will enable the holder to receive free medical
treatment (subject to certain conditions) in the EEC. These
are issued free of charge at post offices, and also contains
much useful health advice for travellers.
Booking a Tour
1.
YOU PAY A DEPOSIT: When booking a holiday you must sign the
booking form and pay a deposit of £25 per person (other than
infants under the age of 2). Deposit on all sport and concert
tours is £50. this is your only commitment until 3 weeks prior
to departure.
2.
YOU PAY THE BALANCE: Within 2 weeks of booking, you will receive
a receipt/confirmation of the booking stating that we have
received your payment. if you have paid a deposit, you will
be informed that the balance remains unpaid within 3 weeks
of the departure date, we reserve the right to cancel your
booking and make cancellation charge at the rates below.

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR HOLIDAY BOOKING If, after making your booking
and receiving confirmation from us, you wish to change to
another of our holidays or alter your booking date, we will
do our utmost to make the changes provided notification is
received in writing at our office at least 30 days prior to
departure. This must be accompanied by a payment of
£10 per person (within a maximum charge of £30.00 per booking).
4.
IF YOU CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY: If you or any member of your group
wish to cancel your holiday, you must notify us in writing.
The date of cancellation is the date that your written confirmation
is received in the booking department of Barcroft Tours &
Events. The person who signs the booking form must also
sign the notification of cancellation charges will apply on
the scale below:

Further information
1.
Payment can be accepted in cash, cheque or by most major Credit
or Debit Cards in our Central Office, by post or telephone.

In certain circumstances we may have to cancel your holiday.
If this should happen we will return to you all the money
you have paid to us. We will not cancel your holiday
during the three weeks prior to departure unless:
a)
You have not paid your holiday in full
b)
Your holiday is influenced by events beyond our control such
as war or threat of war, riots, epidemics, bad weather, technical
problems to transport, closure of ports, terrorist activities
or government action or similar events beyond our control.
c)
In the unlikely event that the number of passengers booked
on the tour insufficient due to cancellations or lack of bookings.
3.
On the rare occasion when the number of passengers on a tour
is less than 20, and management deem it so, it may be necessary
to use smaller vehicles which do not have all the facilities
of the larger coaches.
4.
If, for reasons beyond our control, it becomes necessary to
change your hotel, we will inform you as soon as possible.
However, if this does occur, we will ensure that the substitute
hotel is of the same standard.
5.
Unless otherwise stated, the hotel accommodation provided
for tours in this brochure are of a minimum 3* standard, i.e..
a twin, double, triple or single room with private facilities.
6.
Complaints: If you have a complaint during your holiday please
inform your tour leader immediately, who will then do his/her
best to rectify the problem. If the problem cannot
be put right on the spot you must record the details of your
complaint in writing and send it to our central office within
21 days. We cannot consider any claims if this procedure
is not adhered to.
7.
We must point out that Barcroft Tours & Events reserve
the unconditional right to refuse a booking or terminate a
passengers holiday in the event of unreasonable conduct.
8.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are at the correct
departure point at the correct time.
9.
We will carry out the itinerary as printed unless for reasons
beyond our control it becomes necessary to reschedule or alter
part of the itinerary. We reserve the right to do this
if necessary.
10.
Concert Tours and Sporting Events: In the unlikely event
of the concert or event being cancelled within 7 days of the
departure date the tour will still be run, but a refund will
be made for the value of the entrance to the event in question.
Any cancellation outside of 7 days will result in a refund
of the full amount of the tour.
11.
Travel Insurance is compulsory, and it is your responsibility
to ensure that you are covered by such insurance on all tours.
